I am an expat Canadian living in Portland, Oregon. I like writing my silly thoughts and reading about others' lives. I am fairly unambitious about my career, my dream job would be one I didn't have to go to. I do have other aspirations though, such as traveling to South America and returning to Eastern Europe sometime soon, or moving to London. I like to spend my days making hummus and sangria, watching old movies, browsing thrift stores, reading in bed, drinking too much coffee, and listening to 1960's french pop music. And then once or twice a week I like to abandon my hermit ways and dancing until my feet get tired. As I get "older," I am realizing that I want to try to live sustainably, make and keep good friends, try to learn as much as my little brain can handle, and have lots of fun. I thought I would feel like a grownup by now, but I have itchy feet, in relationships, in travel. In 20 years I can see myself either in an 18th century era apartment in Paris banging away crazy thoughts on an old typewriter or living in an old house with a vineyard and orchard.
